Scope

After major storms along the Central Coast causing severe landform slippages and erosion, the Central Coast had an urgent need for Armour Rock to protect housing and coastline from erosion and further damage.

Timeliness was critical to minimising the impact to the local community. Hunter Quarries successfully sought emergency extension of hours to crush the 5100t of material over the weekend. The extension of hours provided the capacity of Hunter Quarries to swiftly supply the specified Class 2 Armour Rock to the community of Wamberal well within the requested timeframe.

This project was very rewarding for our team. We are proud to have had the capacity to support the local community and council in their time of need.
